He achieved a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Catania in 1980. Few years later he attended the University of Reggio Calabria where he received a degree in Architecture with highest honors. He is on the Engineer register at n.1470 and on the Architect register at n.1154. Since 1989 he has been member of AIAP (Italian Association of Landscape Architecture) and he is qualified to be safety responsible for building constructions. Angelo Vecchio is personally involved in each project and in his work he always focused on environmental matters, preserving and Structure renovation historical buildings and landscape planning. e believes that the aesthetic qualities of a building come from the specific characteristics of each project such as its location, construction technology and purpose. In searching for the most appropriate response to each project, his designs have covered a wide range of solutions and materials. He is also experienced in urban planning.
