This former baronial residence has undergone an intervention that goes beyond simple restoration: a true reconstruction, in which the original spaces and volumes have been reinterpreted and integrated with new architectural elements. The project generates an unprecedented composition, where different environments emerge from the continuous dialogue between historical preexistence and new structures, autonomous in language and function. The spatial layout has been redesigned in a contemporary key: the first floor, once reserved for the noble residence, now houses the sleeping quarters, while the ground floor, directly connected to the garden, accommodates the living areas. The ancient cellar, with its almost basilica-like proportions, has been transformed into a spacious living room, becoming the heart of domestic life. New volumes, highlighted by very light grey plaster verging on white and set in contrast with the red of the main building, host the service areas and garage to the north, while on the opposite side a covered pool defines the southern edge of the property with its architectural mass. Completing the intervention, a lush garden enhances the overall charm and sense of harmony.
