VILLA LG
Set within the Mediterranean landscape, between the lush greenery of the vegetation and the silent presence of Mount Etna, Casa LG was conceived as a retreat for relaxation, privacy, and tranquility for a young family.
The architecture, essential and contemporary, is defined by pure volumes, clean lines, and a balanced dialogue between light, materiality, and landscape. The contrast between the white plaster surfaces, anthracite gray finishes, and the greenery of the Mediterranean garden enhances the home’s minimal and sculptural character.
The villa is arranged over two levels around a central green courtyard and a double-height space that forms the heart of the house. The different volumes separate and reconnect, creating framed views, transparency, and continuous visual relationships between interior and exterior spaces.
Light becomes the project’s defining element: it flows through the large glazed openings, reflects on the water surfaces of the entrance pool and swimming pool, shapes the architecture, and continuously transforms the perception of space throughout the day.
Conceived as a geometric extension of the architecture, the swimming pool enhances the sense of continuity and lightness of the intervention, contributing to a home capable of combining compositional rigor, sensory quality, and a constant dialogue with nature.
