The project inserts new blocks into the natural slope of the existing plot. The building is made up of three blocks organized around a courtyard, with the fourth side being virtually enclosed by the presence of a swimming pool and an adjoining pond.  The living space of the house is on 3 different levels. All the rooms have large windows making access to the garden easy.  The block housing the living room is double height and is the only one with a single sloping pitch roof.  This provides the space for solar and photovoltaic panels, meaning that the house is totally energy independent. All the outdoor spaces which are not paved are laid out as garden, using native species or some of those exotic species which are  now completely integrated into the historical memory and visual perception of the rural landscape.
